About the Club
Heidelberg City was formed in 1924. The first facility was where the Repatriation Hospital is now located. The club was then located at St James Reserve Heidelberg where it remained until 1970. The club as once again relocated to Cartledge Reserve Heidelberg.
Greensborough Soccer Club was formed in 1969 when Roy Streeter had his sons 11th birthday and to entertain the guests suggested they have a game of soccer at Willinda Park Greensborough. This formed the Greensborough Soccer Club and later expanded to be the largest junior soccer club in Victoria.
Eltham Soccer Club was formed in 1967 and originally played at Lower Eltham Park, Eltham. They were then relocated to Wattle Tree Road, Eltham North.
Diamond Valley United Soccer Club was formed in 1986 when Heidelberg City and Greensborough Soccer Club amalgamated. Eltham followed to join in 1989. Their home ground was located at Willinda Park Greensborough, but with the growth of the club over the next 30 years, it could no longer be accommodated at this location and was allocated a new complex at Partingtons Flat, Greensborough. This porting facility is one of the best soccer complexes in the state league.

Hi, i was wondering if you could accommodate another person into your trainings. I’ve been out of touch for a while and am looking to start training again with a view of trying out for the team. Thanks.

Hey there Patrick,
the club is always happy to look at new players………don’t know what level you have played at previously, we play State League 2 and at this stage of the season the senior squad is quite settled , the reserves are essentially an under 21 side. That said, if you feel you have what it takes for this level and ..want to give it a crack you would be welcome to come along to training on a Monday or Thursday night.
Hi I was just wondering if you have girls teams? I have an 8 year old (9 in March) and 11 year old (12 in Nov). If someone could let me know details that would be great. Juniors link on your website is not connecting. Thanks Michelle

Depends how old you are Steven ie.juniors ( Under 18 – Under 8 ) or if older you would be looking at senior club. Let me know how old you are and we will be able to advise accordingly.
